Senior Chess Odyssey & Family Fun is an intergenerational community event designed to bring seniors, families, and youth together through the shared language of strategy, play, and cultural exchange. The event promotes active aging, lifelong learning, and family engagement while encouraging social interaction across generations and cultures.

Our overarching objective is to cultivate a vibrant, multicultural community where in individuals from all walks of life converge to celebrate our collective heritage and embrace the richness of our diverse cultures. Our event promises an enriching experience, fostering cultural connections and community engagement. Attendees will immerse themselves in diverse activities, including chess matches, Senior & Family activities, savoring delicious pizza, and partaking in refreshments—all while forging meaningful connections within our vibrant community.

A COMMUNITY UNITED BY CHESS

Seniors gather around boards, sharing strategies refined over decades while building new friendships. Nearby, young players discover the joy of competition, developing critical thinking skills and sportsmanship.

LITTLE MAKERS AT WORK

Children engage in hands-on craft activities, exploring their creativity and imagination while developing new skills. The craft station becomes a vibrant hub of artistic expression, where young participants create keepsakes and share in the joy of making something with their own hands.

COMMUNITY REFRESHMENT
